How to get to Terrassa

Our Terrassa labs are located in the main building of the Escola Tècnica Superior d'Enginyeries Industrial i Aeronàutica de Terrassa (TR5) and in the Edifici GAIA (TR14). You can get to Terrassa as follows:

By car from Barcelona:

Terrassa is linked directly to Barcelona by the C-58 freeway (formerly A-18), and by the N-150 road. You can reach both of these roads by taking the Avinguda Meridiana. You can also leave Barcelona via the A-2 freeway (Av. Diagonal, south direction) which connects with the A-7 and take later the C-58 towards Terrassa, or via the E-9 through the tunnels of Vallvidrera (toll road). It takes only 20 minutes to get from one city to the other by car (under reasonably light traffic). You can download a schematic road map here and a detailed map here.

By train from Barcelona:

RENFE trains to Terrassa can be taken from the train stations of Sants, Plaça Catalunya, Arc de Triomf and Sant Andrés Arenal. The FFCC of the Generalitat also have a link to Terrassa (from Plaça Catalunya station).

By plane:

From the Barcelona airport you can take the RENFE train to Barcelona (every 30 minutes), towards Plaça Catalunya station, and there you can change trains for Terrassa.

A map of Terrassa is available here.

A map of the campus area is available here.
